Hajnalka Schmidt
Business Development Manager
She is responsible for fundraising.
Hajni joined PAN Parks in 2008. Previously she worked as an independent Fundraising and Communications Consultant for various NGO clients. Having worked for WWF Hungary for nine years has helped her recognise the fundraising situation and opportunities of national and Eastern European nonprofit organisations. Prior to that, until 2006, she worked as the Deputy Director as well as Communications and Marketing Director for WWF Hungary. At first she was employed as a Communications Officer and had the opportunity to develop WWF Hungary’s communications activities in the country. Later she created a three person communications team in order to implement these vital activities more effectively and launch campaigns. Since 2001, she has had the opportunity to launch WWF’s fundraising activities in Hungary (starting with the development of WWF Hungary’s Corporate Club) and to take part in the leadership of the development process of the organisation with the aim of reaching a financially independent status within the WWF Family.
Her wish is to see PAN Parks as a higly recognised wilderness brand in many European countries within 3 years.
